The NSC NetID is are optional for all currently enrolled NSC students. NetID accounts are required in order to use Google Apps for Education (including Gmail). Once created, your NetID will also allow access to some other services (See menu at left).
Your NetID and Google Apps and Gmail accounts will GO AWAY after you are no longer enrolled.
New students will be eligible to create an account after they have been enrolled.
- Before the quarter starts: The system is updated sporadically during quarter break. If account creation fails during the break, wait a few days and try again. Most problems resolve before the start of the quarter. Please note that SUPPORT IS NOT available until the first day of classes.
- After the quarter starts: The system can take up to 24 hours to verify the enrollment (If you don't enroll until day 1, you may not be able to set up your NetID until day 2).
Students who would like to check to see if their NetID is still active can do by talking in-person with an IT Services staff member. Bring a picture ID to the Open Computer Lab.
